There’s a lot of weird in this story. Ostensibly, it’s about an “orgy hostess” whose former fuckbuddy tried to set her on fire during a sex party. According to Helen Shields, Kenneth Stewart “squirted lighter fuel over her as he chased her through a house” during one of their group romps. The Sun reports he was ”brandishing a Zippo lighter” and Shields “feared for her life.”
She added: “He had his hand out pointing something towards me. I saw a blue nozzle. I realised he was squirting fluid at me. He got me on my face and hair.”
She said she ran screaming into a lounge pursued by Stewart, who had her by the hair and coat. She ended up on a coffee table with Stewart on top of her before he was dragged off.
The jury heard witnesses saw Stewart with a lit Zippo.
Stewart had to be stopped by other men at the party. Now…let’s talk about these “other men.”
This was no ordinary orgy. Before you imagine some sexy Eyes Wide Shut action, I’ll remind you that most orgies are frequented by fat, bored suburbanites whose partners haven’t gotten them hard/wet since the kids were born. What makes the Shields/Stewart case so interesting is their specialty. Their fortnightly orgies were staged exclusively for members of The Black Man’s Fan Club. As the Sun puts it, members were “either black guys or ladies into black guys.” On the night of the alleged attack, 150 guests were expected to enjoy “small touching right through to full sex.”
The Sun suggests that Stewart was angered by seeing his former lover “playing” with several attendees. But according to Shields, “I was single and had every right.”
Stewarth is pleading not guilty to attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and making a threat to kill.

Swinger parties are always better in theory. I’ve heard several first-hand accounts from different sources and, boy, they sound awful. But as Peter Sotos once said (I’m paraphrasing quite broadly), guys who buy $5 blowjobs from crackhead whores aren’t there for the sex appeal. It’s about the power, filth and degradation.
